February Weight Loss Challenge

We are 8 weeks into our weight loss challenge...4 more weeks to go!

It was been a fun and interesting 8 weeks and this challenge has kept us all on out toes - thinking twice before we eat that bowl of ice cream after dinner.

Schwenn Services 20 point Inspection


Schwenn Services provides maintenance services to over 200 customers throughout Central Florida! We pride ourselves on lowering our customer's energy costs and downtime, and increasing reliability and the life of their A/C equipment. We would greatly appreciate the opportunity to show you the benefits so many Central Floridians already enjoy with Schwenn Services.

Precision Tune-Up Includes: Air Handler
  1. Inspect / tighten all electrical connections
  2. Compare capacitor MFD against manufacturer specs
  3. Evaluate evaporator coil and air handler cabinet
  4. Measure and record amperage readings of blower motor
  5. Check blower wheel for build up and proper balance
  6. Inspect drain pan and treat with antibacterial pan treatment
  7. Clear condensate drain with shop vacuum or nitrogen
  8. Verify thermostat mounting, operation, and accuracy
  9. Inspect heat strip components and safeties
  10. Measure and record amperage from electric heat strip
  11. Confirm float switch operation
  12. Wash or replace air filter (provided by customer)
  13. Take temperature spilt to help  system efficiency
Condenser
  1. Measure and record amperage of condenser fan motor
  2. Lubricate motor and visually check condenser fan blade for damage
  3. Check refrigerant pressures and verify proper heat exchange
  4. Compare compressor amperage readings with manufacturers specs
  5. Take MFD readings on capacitors and compare with manufacturers specs
  6. Inspect all electrical components for damage (Contactors, defrost boards, etc)
  7. Check all valves, caps, and cores for refrigerant leaks
  8. Visually inspect condenser coil and clean if necessary
  9. Clean equipment exteriors and remove debris (leaves, dirt, etc)
  10. Take superheat and sub-cooling readings to verify charge is correct
Heat Pump (If applicable)
  1. Inspect reversing valve, coil, and defrost board
  2. Verify operation and test defrost cycle
  3. Confirm operation of crank case heater

Electrical Jobs

Schwenn Services & Contracting Electrical Jobs

We have finished up the majority of these current jobs but are still working on a few. Take a look at the job details and photos.  

Mosque:
We are building a 35,000 sq/ft ground up building with site lighting and entrance lighting.
This building will have 2400amps of 3-phase 208volt power.
It will include a 2-story attached apartment for staff.
Building will be fully built-out with lighting and specialty power requirements.
It has power for fountains at the entrance.

OHEV:
We are building a 31,100 sq/ft ground up building with an attached 2-story 13,650 sq/ft ground up school.
This building has a 1000amp 480volt service with transformers for low voltage power.
This is a design build project that took 3-years from design to completion.
It has a state of the art lighting control system for the Sanctuary and occupancy light controls for the classrooms.
We installed and completed the HVAC control system back to the main controller.
This building has a full kitchen and elevator.

Rex Beach at Rollins College
Remolded a 2-story Dorm facility in 10-weeks at Rollins College.  This was a design Build Project.
This was a high end project with L.E.D. lighting and inverters for emergency lighting through-out the facility.
A new 800amp 208volt, 3-phase service was installed with new distribution panels on each floor.
It included (33) new student rooms, (5) restrooms, and meeting center, and small kitchen.
Low voltage CAT6 wiring and Coax for all the student rooms and meeting areas.
We installed a lighting protection system for the roof.

Rollins Hall
Remolded a 3-story Dorm facility in 10-weeks at Rollins College.  This was also a design build project.
This had new light fixtures through-out and new receptacles.
A new 400amp 208volt, 3-phase service was installed with new distribution panels on each floor.
It included (26) new student room, (3) restrooms, and meeting area with small kitchen.
Low voltage CAT6 wiring and Coax for all the student rooms and meeting areas.

Eye Physicians
This was a full interior of a 22,000 sq/ft eye exam facility.
It has a high end lighting system and lighting controls.
All new air conditioning and exhaust systems were wired and installed.
A new 800amp 208volt service was installed with sub-panels through-out the facility.

Children’s Ear’s Nose and Throat
This was a full interior of a 4,500 sq/ft facility.
It has new lighting and lighting controls.
A new 400amp 208volt, 3-phase service was installed.
Floor boxes were installed for retractable chairs and low voltage controls.
Installed low voltage wiring for door controls.

Cape Canaveral Hospital Project
Replaced variable drive disconnects for Air Handling Unit for the 3rd floor emergency room and exhaust fan located on rooftop.
Handled coordination with fire alarm contractor, low voltage controls, and hospital electrician to complete work.

Golfview Elementary
Installed a new 45KVA transformer for a 10-ton roof top air conditioner and provided power for a complete system.

Controls
Installed a complete HVAC control system for Congregation OHEV.
Installed a complete HVAC control system for the new Coliseum at Holyland Orlando.
